During the last week of September, our team has visited the BMILab group in Elche, Valencia. This group lead by prof. Jose Mª Azorín is devoted to the development of Brain Machine Interfaces that can sense the electric currents produced in the brain and are able to transmit such information to a robotic exoskeleton.
During this visit, both teams agreed in the promotion of the collaboration between the research groups, and particularly in the application of material design to improve quality and comfortability of the signal receiver which is a critical feature in the development of non-invasive assistance.
